I spent some time tonight chatting with rohit about his theater and such. It's strange that i never had hardly a conversation with the guy until this summer. But, he is a funny fella.

I've been stayng up late now that i'm not employed. But, i never realized what quality programming comes on PBS at night. I saw the part of the new york documentary on the construction of the empire state building which was fascinating- especially the pictures of midtown with buildings that are probably 10-12 stories high, and then, one giant tower stretching like 90 stories up. It was surreal, considering the world trade center attack.

Speaking of which, if you're looking for an indian-american perspective, i've really enjoyed the web logging of turbanhead.com:

During all the drama of last Tuesday, my sense of humor has taken a backseat. It is slowly re-emerging. I am about to pitch my idea for a new sitcom for next spring. Here is what I have so far:

- Two self-hating homosexuals, who are not ready to come out of the closet or commit, played by Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson.
- One anal-retentive neat freak terrorist roommate played by Osama Bin Laden.
- The wacky next door neighbor, who always stops by at inopportune times to borrow advice on foreign policy, played by George W. Bush.
- French Stewart from Third Rock from The Sun who sits on the couch and squints a lot.
- Wackiness ensues.

nice.
