- First Week in Carroll Gardens
We arrived last Wednesday, and unpacking is an ongoing project. We sold, gave away, or threw out most of our “big stuff”, so this move is not only about a new space, but also a lot of new purchases. A lot of the stuff we got rid of was from our college days, and had also already made it through our fire. I'm most excited about our new sofa, which Lisa bought from Room & Board in SoHo. Thanks to Jason and Liz for tipping us off to this place - we loved everything we saw there. Their furniture manages... - Good Deed of the Day
I'm doing some coding (and drinking iced coffee) today at Darwin's, near Harvard Square - and I did the unthinkable. I found a Nikon D80 (with a nice lens) left behind by another customer, and I turned it in to the staff. Yea, I surprise myself sometimes.... - (Un)Happy Planet Index
The Happy Planet Index is a fascinating examination of countries’ economic and ecological footprints. Like much of social science, I’m not convinced that it shows anything concretely useful at all, but it does satiate my need for rank-order and self-examination. Here is how they designed the study: The Index doesnt reveal the happiest country in the world. It shows the relative efficiency with which nations convert the planets natural resources into long and happy lives for their citizens. The nations that top the Index arent the happiest places in the world, but the nations that score well show that achieving,... - Time
From Tabea: Today at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06. For Europeans, it will happen on the 4th of May… You’ll have to wait another 100 years to see that again. Watch the clock.... - Jenna's Visit
God, it’s good when Jenna visits… photo set.... - 9 years
The years are just flying by, I can’t believe it… on monday, the girl and I celebrated 9 years together, in the best way we know how: sharing a tasty meal. And what better place to have a nice dinner, than a 4-star restaurant in a converted Burger King? Seriously. Rendezvous just opened up in Central Square, in the old Burger King, and it is really really good. The Phoenix loves it. So does the Globe. And we do, too.... - Saabs Don't Age Well
One of the smartest things I’ve ever done, was to pay a little extra for Certified Pre-Owned status on my used 9-3, which more or less just extends the warranty. For an extra $1500 or so, I’ve received more than double that amount in parts and labor over the past 2 years. So, on thursday, I dropped the 9-3 off in Framingham so they could replace the Water Pump, which was going bad. Look at the piece of crap they gave me as a loaner: Later that afternoon, I received a call from the service department, saying that I also... - Resolution
Happy New Year, everybody! I’m back at work today, after a (I think) deserved rest. New Year’s Eve was a bit more restrained than years past, but it was a nice cap to a great year. My only real resolution is for us to finally cut the cord on Boston, and move to NYC. Presley finishes Grad school in September, and I need to think more seriously about my career, grad school, and the future in general. A lot of things could happen, but that remains my #1 goal for 2006. What’s yours?... - On Turning 28
On this day, in 1977, I was born. At 5 lbs. 6 oz., I was six weeks early, and spent my first Christmas in hospital. I used to think that 28 sounded so old - time for marrying, house-buying, and thinking about kiddos. Now that this day has come, those things seem as far away as they did when I was 20. I’m always amazed that people I know are doing these things now… my younger cousing Maggie has 3 kids, and she’s 2 years younger than me. My first real girlfriend from High School is married. And, it seems... - Happy Holidays
I’ve almost got everything bought, but nothing is wrapped… For those that I don’t see this holiday season, I hope you have a nice, stress-free holiday with loved-ones. We’ll be in Buffalo this weekend, so Macy & Jeremy, you better be ready to pound some eggnog!... - Thanksgiving
We spent the weekend eating and drinking to near excess with Matt & Sharon, who were visiting from New York. Presley outdid herself again with the meal- conjuring a delicious turkey, all the fixings, and a couple of pies for our enjoyment. Matt and Sharon even brought along a bottle of 1995 vintage Dom Perignon champaigne. Sharon received it as a gift from her work, but we estimated that this vintage is worth more than $150 per bottle… it was tasty, but we agreed that it didn’t leave any better impression that a $8 bottle of Korbel.... - leak
Our ceiling is leaking, ever so slowly, above my 20-inch apple cinema display… better double-bag it.... - Sphynx
Untitled, by hinagiku. Our friend Nobuko is cat-sitting in the South End this week — she isn’t sitting for normal kitties, mind you, but these Mr. Bigglesworth-esque hairless Sphynx cats. Check out her photos tagged with Sphynx, or some interesting public photos. UPDATE: Presley has some Sphynx shots from her cameraphone: New Friend, by Presley... - Presley's New Specs
Somebody I know got three pairs of new eyeglasses today… Not fair.... - Macyme & Jeremy's Wedding
We were back in Buffalo a couple of weekends ago, for the wedding of Macyme and Jeremy — Flickr gallery. We had a lovely time, and I was glad to have so many old friends together at once. But, poor little Maid of Honor Presley got sick after giving her toast at the reception. We all thought she was just choked up and emotional, but it turns out that she was holding back “chunks”. Anyway, congrats, guys!... - Godson
Here is my Godson, Tommy… Godson, by nedward. I was in Buffalo this past weekend to celebrate my Grandma’s 100th birthday, and got to see my cousins Maggie, Lauren, Sarah, and Emma.... - Flood in Quincy
Poor Jason & Kim… all this rain that fell this weekend found its way into their basement. Three Lambrettas (a DL, Starstream and Cento), all of Jason’s clothes, tools, washer and dryer, furniture… all under water. So sad. Presley and I had both of our scooters down there until Saturday afternoon, when we decided to truck them down to JavaSpeed for repair— talk about dodging a bullet. I just feel so bad for those guys. It really sucks.... - Beach
Marci was in town for a job interview at Harvard, so we took wednesday off from work, and headed for "the beach":http://www.google.com/maps?q=good+harbor+beach&ll=42.621885,-70.628587&spn=0.019260,0.031311&t=k&near=Gloucester,+MA&cid=42615833,-70662500,16941471628673446076&num=10&start=0&hl=en in Gloucester. I received a message from our friend Karla today, about what her boyfriend Steve is up to this summer. He’s a public-school teacher, and is currently working to produce a documentary titled John Doe: Mexican, on border crossers in the Southwest. Sounds like an interesting project, which he will be blogging about: John Doe Mexican is an hour-long documentary that captures the struggle to value human life, even in death. The dead have no names here. For Mexican border crossers, Southern Arizonas Sonoran desert is an unforgiving and, all too often, murderous landscape. John Doe Mexican follows a handful of... - The Work/Life Balance
My main project’s current phase is winding down this week, as I delivered the final eLearning courses last night. So, now I have time to reflect and hopefully resume posting on a regular basis. Today, I took a few minutes to go through Bloglines, and laughed when I saw Dan Cederholm’s Current Work/Life Balance diagram… Why do we do this to ourselves? No matter how many vendors I offshore to, or contractors I hire, it always seems to come down to me at my desk, and 70-hour weeks. And, that’s where the “life” part tanks. Well, it’s time for the... - Tattoo

Just a note of thanks to Stef & Nobuko for recommending Dali’s for our anniversary dinner. Presley and I have been together now for 8 years, and I don’t think we’ve ever had a finer experience. Because of the blizzard, we had to delay one day, but it was worth the wait… (a couple of photos of us… gag!) Tapas items that we ordered: Mejillones con Aguacate (Green-Lipped Mussels w/Avocado) Queso de Cabra Montaes (Baked Goat Cheese w/Tomato & Basil) Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) Vieiras al Azafrn (Scallops in Saffron Cream) Ravioles de Mariscos (Lobster/Crabmeat Ravioli w/Langostino Sauce) Solomillo... - Brick

We participated in the "12 Bars of Christmas Charity Pub Crawl":http://www.evite.com/pages/invite/viewInvite.jsp?inviteId=ORNJGHQCSFAMFFPWPTQX in Boston last night, with donations going to the "New England Center for Children":http://necc.org/ and the "Boston Medical Children with AIDS Program":http://www.bmc.org/pediatrics/special/CAP/overview.html. I feel a bit guilty claiming this was for charity, since all we did was drink heavily, over and 8-hour day, in a pack of Santa-hat wearing revelers... but, we did had a lot of fun with "Jason":http://bloodymortyvane.typepad.com/, "Kim":http://starstreamgirl.blogspot.com/, "Casey":http://www.nerdle.com/blog, "Jess":http://www.frecklegirl.com/blog/, and the rest of the pack. I just want to point out that I am not _always_ the drunkard in the family... "Ocasionally":http://bloodymortyvane.typepad.com/bossanova/2004/08/ha.html, the lady of the house tips a few too many back. Thanks to J., who is "documenting":http://bloodymortyvane.typepad.com/bossanova/2004/08/nice.html all of this: bq. Okay, so I think I need to add that I didn't actually throw up, because I can handle my booze. but I was thinking about it because I guess "someone":http://presley.suckahs.org/ did actually get sick after leaving my house the other day. This is probably more the exception than the rule, but oh well. We're young.... - Phonetiquette
pet-pieve: I answer the telephone, (though it reads "unkown caller"), the voice on the other end asks for someone who does not reside here, and when I politely inform them of this fact, they hang up without response. And, they call back _twice_, with the same bad manners. ...no wonder I never answer.... - Happy Chinese New Year
4702, The year of the "monkey":http://218.1.64.131/2004monkey.swf.... - Thanksgiving Prefix
We're awaiting company for the holiday-- Presley's mom, mom's boyfriend Marc, and sister Kelly are joining us in a proper New England Thanksgiving. The pumpkin and corn breads smell wonderful, the turkey is still thawing, and we picked out a few nice wines to go with dinner. Ok, so maybe the Puritans didn't drink French wine-- or wine at all-- but I'm sticking to the "proper New England Thanksgiving". The funniest part (to me) was that our 1-month old Sears Kenmore refrigerator died yesterday-- luckily we were able to shuttle off various bits to neighbors' fridges, and get a repairman... - Buy Our Couch
We're selling our small couch (loveseat) -- come see it this weekend, and take it off our hands. * Loveseat/(small couch) with slip cover... - Weekend of the Sippy Cup
Friday, after a long week of work and another sucessful delivery, I met Presley and Tbone at the Sunset. _...where I knocked over a pint of Carlsberg on the table._ Saturday, I visited Presley at the diner, and reached for the paper. _...where I knocked my iced coffee into my lap._ Today, Monday, I came to work and grabbed a bagel and coffee. _...and, somehow when I reached for the doorknob, I dropped the coffee on the floor where it went all over the place._ Response from Presley: _ooooo baby. you need a sippy cup..._... - Fire Sale, Part I
Well, it turns out that we own too much stuff... so we're trying to sell off some furniture in our Fire Sale. Pictures are posted temporarily...... - Words Cannot Convey...
We visited our apartment again tonight, and it seems as if they are re-wiring the unit. Holes are sloppily punched and cables run through our walls, leaving a dusting of plaster on our belongings, and clumps of the stuff on the floors, in the sinks, and on our bed. G & P Management didn't even think it necessary to let us know, so we could prepare by boxing up our stuff... no, instead, the electricians had to work around the mess, (which was created when the cleaning crew turned everything inside out 2 weeks ago), so of course they managed... - Temporary Digs
Due to the fire, we've taken up temporary digs at a friend's apartment in Allston. Plum-B is staying in Maine for a while, and he didn't need his room, which he offered to us for nothing in return. His 3 roommates (and house-kitten Alfie) have been truly generous. And I've got a fellow weblogger to talk CSS and XHTML with-- Jason writes at yovanoff.com. And our cat Katya has another kitten to bully around. Life can get pretty strange, but it's oddly comforting knowing that your friends can pull it together when you need them. Now, we've got to figure... - Fire!
!!! Big news in our lives at the moment-- there was a fire in our building and we had to move out while they clean up and rebuild. I really wanted to post about it while I was standing around on Mass Ave Friday, watching the firemen and EMTs. Time to set up Moblogging, I suppose. Nobody was hurt, including our kitten Katya... more details to come, along with a photo album of the scene and the damage.... - Eye-ball
My left eye is twitching today, and I can't get it to stop. I can't wear my glasses or do my work, it's just so annoying!... - Why I don't post as much, either
Megnut drew up a little graph to explain why she doesn't post as much lately. Me too, but I'm trying...... - Empty Nest
The weekend is over, we've lost an hour, and our apartment is empty once more. Having Macyme & Jeremy, Kunta, and Albany Dan under one roof was exhilarating and exhausting. There was debauchery on a grand scale, involving bottles and bottle of wine, some truly terrific thai food courtesy Brown Sugar, and a brilliant portfolio show at MassArt of printmakers' work. I have a new appreciation for the work of printmakers-- I think they occupy an odd middleground between hands-on artists like painters, and those of us interested in design. Much of the work reminded me of the graphic design... - The Big Dig
Presley, Tbone, Megger, Chris and I just got back from the Midwest Grill in Inman Square, where we celebrated Presley's 23rd birthday. She really is getting quite old. But, on the way home, we convinced Chris to drive down to South Boston, so we could come up the new I-93 N tunnel-- that's right, the Big Dig is open. Well, partially open. The tunnel is wide and bright, with actual signage that gives you some actual notice about your exit before you drive by it. But the real treat was emerging from the tunnel, and driving onto the Zakim Bridge.... - Cocaine and Attitude

I seem to have certain threads going through this weblog, and I can finally put to rest one such topic. A few days ago, I wrote about a conversation I had with someone in my coffee house, in which I got the feeling that she was being more than friendly. Having been with the same girl for over 6 years, I didn't really trust my radar in that regard. But, today, this someone decided to take the plunge and ask me out... which immediately turned me red in the face, and I mumbled that I wasn't really available and that... - Never a Good Moment
Q: When you're in your local coffeehouse, and a member of the opposite sex sits down, and you start talking about existential philosophy and music, is it appropriate to mention to this person that you're in a happy, stable, 6+ year relationship? A: You can never be assured of anybody's intentions, and it seems somewhat presumptuous to assume that they're interested in you. I have all of five friends, and I might be overreacting a bit here. Can't people just be friendly? You tell me.... - How's that old Song Go?, Part II
Sometimes someone you don't know says hi and says her name is meghan. And, it makes you feel strange, since you've been going to that very coffee house almost daily for 8 months, and you haven't got a clue what anyone's name is.... - 6 Years <3
Presley and I spent our 6th anniversary at Carlos, little Italian restaurant in the old neighborhood in Allston. It's a quiant little place with good wine and terrific food. She had an Rigatone with Eggplant roll, meatballs, sausages and chicken, in a plum tomato sauce. I had the lobster ravioli with salmon, plum tomatoes, in a lemon vodka sauce. She gave me the new McSweeny's package of issues 1-3 (reprint) and the upcoming issue 10. I gave her... um, dinner. I'm poor lately.... - Coffeehouse as Office
Every time I'm in the coffeehouse, I feel like each table is a home office... For example, on a given day at the coffeehouse that I frequent, there are at least 5 or 6 laptop users, typing away into Word. Many have library books stacked up on their table, and notebooks handy, each with their own unique scrawl. Also, sometimes I spy the person who brings all their mail/correspondence/bills from the past month, and proceeds to open each one while sipping their latte. This sort of activity usually results in a huge trash pile. Amusing. And, then there are those... - New Year
I wish I had some sort of Resolution I could tell you about, but this year there is only one thing on my mind. Getting a job. Getting a Web or IT job. Oh, and to prove it, we're going down to new york for New Years... it may sound incongruous, but it's all part of my plan. Happy New Year Everyone!... - Birthday 25 Soon

Well, we're getting ready to head "home" for Thanksgiving. Great that there is a fucking snow storm on it's way! just enough to make the journey unenjoyable! So the past week as been horribly spent, in the form of all-nighters, working on my new portfolio site and resume. I really need a job like I need a money tree. The new identity, website and resume are pretty cool, I have to admit... especially the business cards and letterhead... I wish I could link it here, but I want to always keep work and play seperate. Those of you who know me, probably know where to look... if you don't know me and you're interested in hiring me, christ man! email me. The cool thing about the resume... - Relevance
It seems pretty funny having this site, these days. Nobody seems to stop by anymore. Granted, I haven't been posting all that much... So, here's an update: An old friend IM'ed me today- a friend from college that i haven't seen in a year-&-a-half, when we stopped talking. Not sure if I should reach out, or rebuff... My unemployment benefits have exhausted themselves. I have a cold. Fucking Presley definetely gave it to me. We are hosting a little Suckahs reunion this weekend, here at our new digs, in Cambridge. AND, Albany Dan was foolish enough to buy MacyMe a... - DSL
Neddy and Presley have DSL. Praise Vishnu that one of our many utilities is up and ruunning... fuck AT&T Broadband-- they've determined that our whole building is illegally wired, so they shut off ALL cable in the place. I plead ignorance.... - Nine-Eleven ~ 9/11
So, here I am, at the library, trying to update my little web site with some new content... Today is 9/11, and I walked down to Cambridge City Hall at 8:45 am for the ceremony honoring the victims. My first reaction was to wonder just when the police were going to shut Mass Ave down to traffic-- surely any fitting memorial would re-route traffic for such an occasion. The crowds were pretty sparse though, so I surmised that the police didn't deem it necessary. Probably only 50-75 people were in attendance, while maybe a hundred firemen, policemen, politicians and other... - More Primitive Times
Hi. I am writing you from inside the walls of the Cambridge Public Library, Central Square Branch. The past few weeks have upturned a lot of dirt... and by that i mean that i have: a) moved from Boston to Cambridge b) Still have no working DSL c) have 30 boxes satacked everywhere, each one having been half-emptied d) have paint stripper on our window sills, waiting to be scraped off... which means, e) we are painting our living room soon f) our building Super is super, if not a bit wierd g) the librarian here has been very nice,... - Entropy & Wedding
Thing on suckahs seems to have gotten horribly static, as everyone seems to have taken the summer off, (myself included). I've finally gotten a good start on my site (you're reading it now), and i hope to revamp suckahs in the near future....... but time will tell. There's a lot going on. We are moving to Cambridge Sept 1. Also, my cousin Mary is getting married to her boyfriend Troy this Saturday, (aug 31, in buffalo), which makes this whole moving thing that much worse... I bought her a buge magnetic chalk board from pottery barn. SHHHHHHH... SO shit is... - Belief-O-Matic
Here is my religious breakdown, according to the highly scientific Belief-O-Matic. I find it amusing that I was raised Catholic, yet it's at the bottom of the list. I think it must be a function of my revulsion. Also, I'm somehow 77% New Age, and 64% Scientology. Booooooooo. Fucking Scientologists. 1. Unitarian Universalism (100%) 2. Liberal Quakers (91%) 3. Neo-Pagan (79%) 4. New Age (77%) 5. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (77%) 6. Reform Judaism (73%) 7. Secular Humanism (72%) 8. Mahayana Buddhism (67%) 9. Bah?'? Faith (65%) 10. Scientology (64%) 11. New Thought (64%) 12. Sikhism (59%) 13. Hinduism... - Fear and Loathing in the New Economy
I've been feeling horribly anxious today... Trying to find an affordable apartment in Cambridge for September without a job is not something I'd recommend to the squeamish. We found a jewel of a place at 922 Mass Ave. It has hardwoods, a small kitchen, large eating room, a smaller bedroom (who cares), and a large living room. It's on the 4th Floor, (no elevator, which sucks), and it faces Mass ave.... $1100 a month. That's nothing in that neighborhood between Harvard and Central Squares. One tiny problem: they don't take students, and they want us to earn a combined salary... - fdgh

fook. i got burnt-- we went to the beach in Gloucester today... i layed on my stomach, listening to the red sox - yankees game, and neglected to put sunscreen on my calves of all things. Red as popped-cherry.... - Commence Already
Presley is finally commencing, (or graduating, which ever you prefer), from college this sunday... I've been putting off buying a gift, but I finally tracked one down, and boy is it spectacular. I had to drive all over the city to find it, and I can barely hold back from spilling the beans... but I will have to wait till Sunday. Woo HOO!... - Slag
Sometimes I get the feeling that people just don't read me right... or maybe I don't read them. It seems to me that people feel okay saying incredibly rude things to me-- things that they don't expect to come out as rude, however when it happens they seem completely surprised by their choice of words. I don't get it. For example, when I was working at an internet services firm last year, upon shaking a client's hand, he remarked something like "Jesus, what are you, still in college? This looks like the B-team. You look 18." To which his partner... - Christ, I Haven't Been In
Christ, I haven't been in the neighborhood thrift stores since the H&M opened up downtown, but it was kind of a fun time. I love this brown corduroy shirt-- it's so worn in and LL Bean-ish... Not at all something I should be wearing, but i love it.... - I Like Girls with Glasses.

I just got a piece of junk-mail from 'Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Cambridge', and it's the most attractive piece of junk-mail i've ever received. Also, it's probably the best church website i've ever seen (scientology doesn't count as a 'church', per se).... - Hi Again.
hi again.... - Check Please?
I think I'm going to take a break from this web site (and that web site) for a while. I've been spending too much time in front of this machine, and not enough time looking out for the non-digital me. I'm not sleeping well, I'm not eating well, and it seems silly to spend so much time blogging about bullshit when I'm ignoring the realities. Any comforts and attachments in my life need reexamining or refreshing because they're stale as hell, and they've lulled me into a kind of illusionary state. So I'm checking out. It could be for a... - Only a Dream

hi again, amigos. We're back in Boston, and happy for it! EvilMonkey, Glenndo, Presley & Megger tried hardily to put together a Harry Potter puzzle on our coffee table. bon amusant! thanks to Liz, Ashley & Emilie (i do NOT run a small man mill in Boston, I SWEAR) for links... I read you guys regularly, so thanks for sharing your talents... AND, besides EvilMonkey passing out on the couch tonight, it's SNOWING. HOLY FOOK. I WILL BE TWENTY-FOUR YEARS OLD ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 22.... - PR Majors
I just proof-read my subletter's latest PR paper, and i would just like to say that she writes at a high school level. It is totally laughable to me that she get's A's at emerson college for these papers. This would be a C paper anywhere else-- maybe C-. And, in six months, she is going to be writing public relations drivel...... - I employ you
ok, so here is the funny story about an old friend that I promised-- About a month ago, I received this e-mail from our high school friend Matt: John, hello. I just had a conversation with Ruby (who is in town today), and she had mentioned that she had a chat with you. She had said that you had just started your own graphics design company. ok, that's funny... because I haven't talked to Ruby (who is the long-time girlfriend of Matt's twin, Eric), since high school, and never very often. back to the story: My first reaction was envy... - Quiz Me
shit, so i've been taking all these funny online tests... which makes me basically a 14-year old girl (but you all knew that anyway). i was disappointed cos i'm only half Emo, and three-quarters internet junkie. I mean, come ON. what does it take to get higher numbers? And how am i 40% grunge? cos i know who kurt cobain is? who the fuck doesn't... i've also been working quite hard on the new suckahs root site. it still needs some tooling, so we'll see when i finally get to it. lot's of iframes... hope none of you have netscape... - Cut Cut Cut
so i went to see Cay to get my hair cut. I enjoyed having semi-long hair. I think she liked it better too, but the realization that i must go to interviews and such in the near weeks made it a necessity to get some professional looking locks.... - i Love 666

So i just posted this long post on suckahs concerning christianity. too serious a topic? I do have this uncanny ability to sit down on couches at parties and clear the room in a short amount of time. maybe i shouldn't open my mouth.... - OK, So I've Been Delaying
ok, so I've been delaying writing, because I've been busy designing and looking for work. This weekend was quite a lot of fun. We picked up 666 (rebes) in chinatown late friday night-- the bus arrived more than an hour-and-a-half late. But, this whole chinatown bus thing is incredible-- you can take a comfortable bus between New York & Boston for $8-15 each way. What is that all about? Anyway-- albany dan, sara and kaleb arrived while we were waiting on a street corner under the chinatown pagoda arch. We all caught up soon enough back at the compound in... - Sick

That's the formula for NyQuil-- and don't skimp on the real thing... whoops... fading........ - Stratford-Upon-Niagara
I spent some time tonight chatting with rohit about his theater and such. It's strange that i never had hardly a conversation with the guy until this summer. But, he is a funny fella. I've been stayng up late now that i'm not employed. But, i never realized what quality programming comes on PBS at night. I saw the part of the new york documentary on the construction of the empire state building which was fascinating- especially the pictures of midtown with buildings that are probably 10-12 stories high, and then, one giant tower stretching like 90 stories up. It... - Hi Ned
So, i'm waiting for the rest of these fools to stumble upon this site. I've been so busy getting the main site up, and designing personal sites for the other domain members, that i never did my own. I have been glued to the television over the past couple of weeks, and i'm sick with grief as i listen to these wives, mothers, sons and daughters show pictures of their lost loved-ones. It is so tragic to see the panic and loss in their faces, as they plead with the television crews, describing what their daddies and husbands were wearing when they left the house that morning. Lisa and I are so thankful that everyone we know and love are safe -- it was a frightful couple of days in Boston, because our city seems to be the... - just got my Verizon DSL

There is a surprise this weekend-- but i can't yet say what it will be... because Presley may be reading this. Let's just say that she is turning 21 on Saturday, and probably looking for clues. What should i buy her for her birthday? Oh, and I'd like to think i can throw the occasional good-natured insult (or not), but Shakespeare does it like no one else.... - There is a surprise

Very jittery today-- i found this little 1-cup coffee maker that brews instantly at my desk at work, so i don't need to run out to yada yada every hour on the hour. the downside is, of course, that i have hot tasty coffee within reach... distractions from the tasks at hand.... - i am the monkey inside

Apparently, I'm the mastermind... a Submissive Introvert Abstract Thinker... Like just 9% of the population you are a MASTERMIND (SIAT). You can be silent and withdrawn, but behind your reserved exterior lies an active mind that allows you to analyze situations and come up with creative, unexpected solutions. Normal people call this "scheming." Don't learn German. Anyway, your sense of style and originality are your strengths, and people will respect your judgment once they get to know you. If you learn to be a little more personable, you could be a great leader--you've definitely got the "vision" thing down. Just... - story of my life.
story of my life.... - Presley took me to blue
Presley took me to blue man group for my birthday ( a few days early). funny thing -- the blue men were climbing on chairs through the audience, and they made it all the way back to us (it's not a large space)... and they plucked her up, and took her onstage to do a schtick with them... after being fed twinkies, and doing mime humor, twinkie-vomit shot out of this vest they stuck on her, and she couldn't stop laughing. that blue stuff gets everywhere .... - banks
Fighting against the huge, hostile, non customer-oriented banks.....Is anyone actually happy with their bank?... - Can you feel the community
